Australia ‘cannot sustain an electric car revolution’

Australia ‘cannot sustain an electric car revolution’ According to Sky News Host Paul Murray the Channel Nine press “do everything they can to try to pretend there is an electric car revolution” happening in Australia.

Mr Murray said “even after all of the subsidies and all of the cuts in car registration” the total sales figures for electric cars in Australia in 2019 were 0.6 percent and of those sales two thirds were Tesla’s worth approximately $68,000.

He said despite what "Lefties" claim, Australia doesn't have the infrastructure to support a mass uptake of electric vehicles.

“The idea that we have the technology, the range, the recharging stations or even the power grid to take an entire country on electric vehicles, doesn’t exist," he said.
