An elderly female driver came into a parking spot at a strange angle and hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes. Her car left the parking space and over a retaining wall with her Toyota Rav4.
She hit the side of the Valvoline Oil Change building causing a large crack in the side. While it was an unlucky incident, she was lucky. She missed the exposed gas lines by inches. She missed an electrical junction box by a foot.
She missed the electrical panel on the building by a foot. She missed 2 50 gallon drums that were label as HazMat Material (probably used oil). She was not injured but shaken badly. The City Building Inspector has been requested to come and review the damage.
