Coronavirus reaches London: Ninth person diagnosed in UK

The first case of COVID-19 in the capital has been confirmed.

The sufferer - who contracted coronavirus in China - is in the same specialist unit which cared for Steve Walsh, the British man who is thought to have unwittingly infected at least 11 other people.

He is home - and healthy - as the World Health Organisation warned against stigmatising individuals or countries.

Two prisoners in the UK have tested negative for the disease.
