The FATF in its plenary meeting held in Paris from February 16 to 21 expressed serious concern on Pakistan’s failure to comply with its 27-point action plan in line with the agreed timelines (which ended in September 2019) and in light of the terror financing risks emanating from it. Pakistan is yet to implement almost half of its action plan. Consequently, the FATF again asked Pakistan to swiftly complete its full action plan by June 2020.
