Sin, Cos and Tan values for different angles:
Sin 0°=0=cos 90°
sin 30°=1/2= cos 60°
sin 45°=1/√2= cos 45°
sin 60°=√3/2=cos 30°
sin 90°=1=cos 0°

tan 0° = sin 0° / cos 0° = 0/1 = 0
tan 30° = sin 30° / cos 30°=1/√3
tan 45° = sin 45° / cos 45°=1
tan 60∘ = sin 60° / cos 60°=√3
tan 90° = sin 90° / cos 90° = 1/0 which is NOT DEFINED.

Solve the following problem and comment your answer:
Two boats are sailing in the Indian sea on the two different sides of a lighthouse. The angle of elevation of the top of the lighthouse is observed from the boats are 60° and 30° respectively. If the lighthouse is 250 m high, then what will be the distance between the two boats?
