The fascinating dialogue that animals want to have with us | Sindhoor Pangal | TEDxNapierBridgeWomen Animals, especially dogs are always communicating with us, but humans have for a long time put the conversation on mute. Dogs are gentle and peace-loving ambassadors of the animal kingdom, says canine behaviourist Sindhoor Pangal. In this passionate talk, she discusses how we can consciously understand animals better and learn to co-exist in peace and harmony.

Sindhoor Pangal is a canine behaviourist and an educator in Bangalore, India. She is India’s representative for Pet Dog Trainers of Europe (PDTE) and the founder of BHARCS, a canine education academy. She is also passionate about studying the ethogram of free ranging dogs. Sindhoor is a prolific writer who used to maintain a weekly column in the Bangalore Mirror for two years. She currently maintains the BHARCS blog. Before entering the world of dogs, Sindhoor worked in several industries. She worked at Yahoo, first as an Engineer and then as a product manager. She then moved on to head technology for Parikrma Humanity Foundation after which she spent a few years as a VP at a Silicon Valley based startup. However, she believes she has found her true calling, working with animals. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
