How to Regulate Pendulum Clocks

In this video you’ll learn how to regulate your pendulum clock. If your clock is running too fast or too slow, gaining or losing minutes during the week then the pendulum needs adjusted. This is a super easy fix you can do yourself!

If it is running too SLOW the pendulum bob needs to be RAISED
1. Rotate the rating nut one full turn to the RIGHT
2. Wait 24 hours and check again
3. Repeat as necessary and when close to accurate use a quarter to half turn

If it is running too FAST, the pendulum bob needs to be LOWERED
1. Rotate the rating nut one full turn to the LEFT
2. Wait 24 hours and check again
3. Repeat as necessary and when close to accurate use a quarter to half turn
