We use promises in our daily life; for buying and selling, arranging appointments and even between ourselves. Allah has made us promises and shaytan has also made promises which have all been recorded in the Quran.

Allah informs us that His promises are true while warning us that the promises of shaytan are full of deceit. But what exactly were shaytan's promises to Allah regarding mankind? Shaytan vowed to Allah that he will misguide as many of mankind as he can, tempting them away from His mercy and luring them to the hellfire. These were the promises made by shaytan before being cast out of the Heavens and he continues to lure mankind with false promises and hopes in this world.
