On day six of our journey we made it to Lumajang in East Java. We did couchsurfing there and drove with our host to what might be the most stunning waterfalls in the world. In the middle of beautiful greenery not far from Mount Semeru Tumpak Sewu and Kapas Biru Waterfalls will blow your mind and make every other waterfall you've seen before look small and insignificant. They are located 50km west of Lumajang, directly on the border to Malang. In fact half of Tumpak Sewu is still in the Lumajang regency, while the other half is already in Malang. That's why you have to buy a entrance ticket twice. Once at the top and another one when you reach the bottom after a quite challenging hike down.
