[DFFOO GL] Dimensions' End: Entropy Tier 7: Zack|Firion|Ignis

[DFFOO GL] Dimensions' End: Entropy Tier 7: Zack|Firion|Ignis The format I'll be using for DE: Entropy will be a bit different than usual vids as I think describing the general strategy and what to look out for is far more important than simply stating team members and summons used.

~General Advice For All Dimensions' End:
Pace yourself on any tower stage you attempt. Many of these fights take 100+ turns so spamming your skills needlessly will make it impossible to finish. Understanding of when to use skills and when to space out use will be one of the biggest markers for success. Also, focus on the stage you're stuck at. You can always go back and redo the stages later when you have more characters!

~What To Watch Out For:
This Tier of the Dimensions' End is pretty short in wave count. You're expected to win within 105 turns, marking this as the tightest turn count stage at release. To keep you from reaching the goal in time, there's a ton of annoying debuffs to get in the way. The worst of these being Fogga, which prevents you from using skills.

Wave 1: Trash wave. Use it as a chance to get your guys buffed and ready to start the next wave.

Wave 2: Hello Rosa Beetles. Nothing has changed here really in how you approach battling them. Simply don't get broken on characters without the Last Stand passive (the passive that lets your characters live with 1HP when over 50% health and taking fatal hit)

Wave 3: This guy is one tanky beastie. He has quite the HP bar and a hefty defense stat to boot. This boss will heal and then transform from his 4-legged self to a bi-pedal Behemoth after dishing out a certain damage count. This is when the real fight begins. He has a lot of annoying debuffs, including the ever awful Fogga which prevents your character from using skills. Prevention or removal of this debuff is key to beating this battle within the tight turn count.

~Character Role Suggestions:
By no means must these suggestions be followed, they are simply a guideline. Most teams have covered at least a couple of these roles below.

-Debuffer: Especially of the Defense Down and Attack Down variety. These two debuffs help massively in dealing with the bosses. Defense down for the Wave 3 boss, and Attack Down being useful for both waves to mitigate brave damages taken.

-Debuff Preventer: Fogga, Poison, and Atk down are deadly on a stage with the this 105 turn count. Being able to prevent these debuffs is massively useful so that you can continuously pump out good damage. However, this role is very rare, and currently only 4ish good options in Selphie, Lenna, and Ignis. Yuna only works here as long as the Fogga debuff isn't inflicted on her, but with the tight turn count, you're going to want to have some big damage tag along with her to make her viable.

Single Target Focused Characters: The most lengthy wave this go around is the Wave 3 boss, so having someone who can deal high burst damage to a single target can be mega handy. You can also consider characters who gain brave when using attacks (like Firion's HP+ as shown in the video) to get around the high defense of the final wave boss.

-Tank: Characters who can mitigate heat from these bosses is super helpful. Warrior of Light can prevent breaks in Wave 2, and also gives himself the Elude Buff to prevent debuffs to himself. Zack, the newest tank, basically neuters the bosses from doing much. Basch of course works but make sure to watch the provoke uses. Celes can also be viable here but these bosses don't really use magic attacks. Special care must be given to keep her brave and/or health at decent amounts to keep things going smoothly.

Hopefully what I've written here will assist any who are struggling on this stage! Best of luck as you climb through the tiers.

Till next time, stay cool, have fun!
