July 30, 2017: A beautiful summer's day found me in Bellevue, OH, where I got two trains at the Center Street crossing, each one with a unique consist. 8:30AM
NS train 288 comes off the Fostoria District with a BNSF/CEFX combo of locomotives. This train carries auto racks to Detroit, MI from Jacksonville, FL and operates via Fort Wayne and Fostoria. On occasion, it was also have several flat cars of car frames, which can be seen in the consist this day.
11:10AM
NS train 188 departs Bellevue Yard for points south and east. In addition to having the Central of Georiga heritage unit in consist, the train is also carrying four flat cars of locomotives destined for the Botswana Railway.
