DDry Needling for Hand Soreness & Pain! When my wife complains of aches and pains, then it's my obligation to do something about it. She recently received chiropractic adjustments for her neck, back, and shoulder pains, now it's time to adress the sorness and pain
in her right hand. Our physical therapist, Dr. Heon Jang, PT, DPT will be performing her dry needling session.
Dry needling is a treatment performed by physical therapists who are trained and certified in the procedure.
Chiropractors can also be certified in the procedure as well, but it all depends on state laws, and the actual
state. During dry needling a thin needle penetrates the skin and treats underlying muscular trigger points for the management
of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments.
