Mr Biden is looking to the momentum from his first caucus win to carry him through to Super Tuesday when 14 states will cast their votes for the Democratic nominee in the presidential election.
Mr Siracusa told Sky News Mr Biden was "going to have enough time” to consolidate his campaign ahead of Super Tuesday but warned “Bernie Sanders is going to fight”.
He said experts on Democratic proceedings “see a two-person race between now and the nominating convention in Milwaukee in July”.
"The wildcard here is Michael Bloomberg who entered the race a month ago because Vice President Biden wasn’t looking so good," he said.
"Now if Biden is looking good, what happens to Michael Bloomberg?”
